The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim

Because it was grassy and wanted wear,

Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way

I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

Industrial Child

My feet are cold

My eyes are itchy

I cannot see

I can barely breath

I live in fear

The smell of dirty

cloth and writing children

runs through the air

I live in fear

I live in fear

They tell me to

pick, clear, clean, and fix

I am but six

I live in fear

We live in fear

I would love to

exchange words with

Enthrall upon an

eternal sabbath of sleep

I do not fear

I no longer fear

to depart this

Stage of existence

I do not fear

because it is

better than hear

My Dream…

My dream is to travel the world learning different languages and cultures. Right now I live in North America and here, being an African-American teenager, society makes it as if  black people had no culture before slavery. I know that that can’t be true, so that is why my dream is to travel and learn (also listen).

But I am not just stopping at black culture, I want more! To understand as much as I can. I just want to get down to the roots lol. Is that weird? Please leave a comment down below. I want to go from the roots of Christianity to the roots of Islamic Culture.

I truly enjoy how people express their beliefs or emotions, because that’s what they’re based upon, that’s they’re structure.  So when I hear a person expressing their beliefs and/or feelings, it is like watching a house being built in fast motion. And it is all truly amazing how a sentence can be like a nail in the wall.
